atchan! PDS - Terms of Service

atchan provides an account server for ATProto services. In this document the account server is interchangeably referred to as the PDS (Personal Data Server). With atchan's PDS you can register an Atmosphere Account.

The PDS is provided as a convenience of the user. You are not required to use it to access the atchan service, and can instead bring your own Atmosphere account.

Intended use

The intended use case for the PDS is to promote free expression of the arts. The content we allow is generally permissive, as long as it is legal in your region and in Sweden, which is where our host is located.

Acceptable use

The following points apply regardless of legality:

1. We do not welcome racist, nazi, or fascist content of any kind
2. Do not upload real life gore, excessively violent or shock content
3. Do not share content that violates the rights of others
4. Do not spam or fill your account with garbage data
5. Do not use the service to distribute malware or conduct phishing attacks
6. Do not engage in any activity that could harm the server or other users
7. Do not upload or promote anything otherwise illegal in Sweden or in your region

Suspension

In the event that your account is found to break the site rules or the above terms, we may take down your account. This will also suspend any other ATProto data associated with your account.
