drop ur best shots from ur fav games. These are from STALKER Call of Pripyat using the Call of Chernobyl mod. The lighting and design makes for such pretty shots. Everytime i start it up now i cant help but take 1-2 photos during my travels, the art directors sewed something very special into it.
this one took a lot of finesse. lightning effects are rly randomized but i finally got one perfect shot for my troubles. zona svedyot, uvidemsya.

i used to be super into no-clipping/going out of bounds/forcing the camera through walls in games and trying to find geometrically interesting images. this was easiest to do in source games but a lot of games with photo modes will also let you jam the camera through geometry in a visually compelling way

reminds me of zetterstrand's counter strike paintings

yeaaah i think these and parts of The Beginner's Guide was my initial inspiration to start exploring what i could find out of bounds lol. one of my other favorite games to try this in was the now destroyed The Crew because the photomode would let you zoom in or out to extreme proportions and especially if you paused during a crash or something you could get the most insane looking splintered and mangled geometry by mashing the viewport through the dashboard. i can't find any of my screenshots, they might be on an older computer i don't have hooked up right now but i should go looking.
Nophenia is a very pretty little game.
Level 1 of Dreamcore has some nice architectural features.
