I've been on a printmaking adventure this week! I've been learning about how to do cyanotypes for the first time, and I've been slowly inching along learning what to do and what mistakes I've been making ... I don't love the attached file, but I think I know what I did wrong!
There are so many steps!!! It feels like I went from cooking with my normal paintings, where I can kinda just muddle together shapes I like, and it'll end up coming together one way or another as long as there's spices I like in it, to baking where of any step is a little bit off everything afterwards gets skewed further and further off course. It's interesting, just scary!
Tonight I have a couple more prints to shock blue, and then I'm gonna draw some more transparencies to expose later tomorrow... I need to buy some more paper too, and maybe some white shirts? Who knows!

Went to a pinhole workshop and learned how to transfer a negative to photo print paper. Useful for when I eventually start shooting large format film.

i finished all my printing for this lil excursion. soooo maybe id feel bad spamming but i might reply once or twice with more that im proud of. i made too many i literally dont know how to get rid of some of thes elol
addtl one - i like perfume bottles, i feel like this helped me learn how to draw two-tone too
addtl two, gearbox - i like how dimensional this one looks
only ever done linocuts once but it turned out pretty cool... i liked the little experiment i did where i drew on a paper and did a printing over that
