I spend a lot of time combing Anime for really cool outfits, armor pieces, and so on.
Alongside scenery, which I've also made a little thread for, it's kind of my favorite thing. Before I learned to draw, all I could do was kind of collect work that appealed to me, and I think that weird habit has stuck with me today. here are a handful of pieces from my 'Outfits and Armors' folder - I hope you'll share yours with me, too!
Caterpillar Bodysleeve.
Artist 'Rintaro' did a lot of kemo-kemo stuff, and it is all supremely cute, but he did an artbook I was not able to acquire a ways back that features these cool sort of 'street-fashion' full-body outfits with respirators on his usual styles of character. I thought they were really striking.
thats so sick omg
i really loved the outfits yamashita-sensein pits her girls in on the chapter pages/covers of ikoku nikki
I don't know what this one is from specifically, but if I am not mistaken it was a 'supremely stylish but very mid Chinese MMO.'
I love the massive quilted sleeves on this one.
Real oven-mitt appeal.
I think my favorite Clothe and Shoe person ever is Range Murata.
He's swapped to doing actual fashion, nowadays, which is really cool. Unfortunately, I think a lot of his 'real' fashion doesn't capture the same beauty as his drawn work.
Fiction's always just out of grasp! Aaa!
Oh gosh, I really love the tutu-style skirt and gingham jacket. On a somewhat unrelated note, just like, the foremost girl's stronger facial features are also just really striking. She is beautiful.
More very lovely Range Murata stuff.
So this is actually from a lolicon vomit doujinshi called Outoswitch, but like. Gosh. I love the protagonist, Ichika's, clothes so much.
Nobody does scummy burn-out sexymen like Sachiko Kaneoya. All of them dress real disheveled and I love her penchant for putting them in skirts, deeply-unbuttoned shirts, and striped boxers.

I share Tsuzuki Kazuhiko's appreciation for Flintstones Moe

dayum..... i was thinking abt flinstones today cuz of the scenic thread.

oh yeah, this is good. sewing lines, buckles, belts, denim and thick, wrinkled fabrics are the best.
This may just be because i was a little obsessed with it growing up, but I like a lot of the character fashion in Mirai Nikki
I'm kind of crazy about jeans and dress shirts
Naoto Yamakawa's manga has some cute ones
Dude, yes.
Oh man, I have a bunch of cool traditional outfit photos from Yemen saved on my phone, and like. It's so cool. It's so good.
I used to have this photo I cannot find anymore of this Pashtun girl, and she is like. Scowling on a motorcycle. It was like, the hardest photo of all time. She, unironically, looked tough as hell.
I don't know. Muslim fashion is so cool.
I have a shemagh and I know how to tie it, but I don't feel like I wear it particularly well.
I forget which artist did these, but they had a big collection of them; all of them featured this very similar like, 'Bloomer Pantlegged Onesie' sort of get up, and I think that it is supremely stylish.
Little more of the same artist.
i adore the style and fashion in ichigo mashimaro (´¬`)

this is from Dorohedoro who has too many fun outfit and accessory designs to show in just one image

Dorohedoro is an all-timer...
... I like her cut because I think she looks like Tofu.
Supremely regal little gunner-dragon outfit.
there's an ONA called magical play which the character design was done by Kiyohiko Azuma and its pretty fine. I love how the main 3 girls outfits look especially the bunny (pippin)
I've always liked the somewhat unflattering shako-style cap in this one.
