Very excited for new movie in a couple months, not sure how long it'll take to get subbed / western release, but very excited. New manga chapters have been a little more frequent also and very excited to see where things are going.

we recently finished watching through what's currently available of the series. it's really wonderful and also hurts like hell. the last season made us cry really hard. we like faputa a lot.
need to get on reading the manga when we have a chance.
faputa basically lives in my head , i love her so much. the manga is beautiful and while the anime is a great adaptation, the mangas artstyle is unparalleled and that along with the extra tidbits is really really special
going to have to rewatch soon to gear up for the new season.. time to drag the gf into the abyss w me

Made in Abyss is really good,, I don't think there's anything else like it tbh. Nothing else fills me with the same simultaneous dread and curiosity, the artstyle is incredible and the soundtrack in the anime feels really iconic atp. I like Kevin Penkin's work in other shows, but I think a lot of his best work is in Made in Abyss.

i havent been able to find anything that scratches the itch nearly the same, and in a way i think that is part of why its so good.

yesterday i binge watched season 1 with a fren who's never watched mia before. it was pawsome,, I hadn't seen s1 in a good while, it was due for a rewatch,, the last two episodes make me tear up every time.
