Making a thread to encourage myself to read through everyone's submissions. I'm blown away at the entry count being over double last year's.

Sunny is so, so, so moe but has the most dogshit opinions and taste. I love her.

Serious pitch would be that it's an excellent contemplation of the relationship people online have with fiction and the ways that's leveraged socially. Loved the intertextuality between cartoons, vns, literature and its own content.

I still need to play Ten Metre Tide... I'm also looking forward to Postcards From Brentville. Faithless Flagellant helped me expand the range of characters and situations I'd write

i loved ten metre tide as well - they're both great

just had a good time reading ÜBER ICH. i love how type-moon it feels. such a bizarre hostile alien world as the setting to navigate ptsd and violent and self-destructive hallucinative misery. and then its also about lighting a cigarette from someone elses in the midts of it all

Sunny is indeed peak design. Excellent character

I just finished playing this one, totally agreed with your sentiments; the afterword was also quite nice. This story reminds me a lot of my own experiences as a young adult moving across the country.

very very very much adored sicko phantasy, such a precision strike into my heart as someone who was entrenched in and has spent years pulling myself out of the dark toxic sludge of 2010s tumblr moralism and the shadow it's left looming over modern discourse. kind of evil sexual feelings towards sunny. was told my previous project helped inspire the creation of this game, which is an honor

read No Matter How Strange today, really enjoyed it in a queasy weezy kind of way. loved the harmony between the abstract aggressively tempoed visuals and the stream of consciousness prose

hole* - I hate that you can't love what I don't have, what I would give anything to have. Love bound in hate, for each other and ourselves.

has anyone read The Displacement of Water by sopy.itch.io?

it's my favorite game of the jam I've played so far! I loved how it plays with the concept of being objectively morally pure and how that framework can change a person. the time loop aspect is also really good and works a lot better in ren'py than I expected. also seeing that one cg of Sicil got me so badly that I had to stop playing for the day when I saw it.
